State Mineral and Energy Board announces results of June Lease Sale
Baton Rouge- The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board conducted its monthly meeting and lease sale on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in the LaBelle Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.
The Board collected $474,950 in bonus revenue for the June lease sale. The current 2025-2026 total bonus payment is approximately $4.3 million. At this month’s lease sale, there were 12 leases covering 3,361 acres sold. The leases were located in Assumption, Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Mary parishes.
The total bonus payments to the state for the previous fiscal year, 2024-2025, amounted to $7.7 million.
