As of Oct. 1, 2025, the Department of Energy and Natural Resources (DENR) has become the Department of Conservation and Energy (C&E). We appreciate your patience as we transition over the coming months. If you cannot find the information needed on this website, please visit our DENR Archive Website or contact us at info@la.gov.
C&E Headquarters Location and Parking

Parking
The LaSalle Parking Garage is located across the street from the LaSalle building and is available to C&E visitors at no charge.
The C&E Human Resources Division can validate visitors with either a one-day quick pass or a multiple-day reservation pass. To validate parking for C&E visitors, please send the following information to _DNR-HumanResources@la.gov before the visitor arrives:
- Date(s) of visit
- Duration of visit (start and end time, if available)
- Vehicle plate number
A QR code is available in the HR Suite (suite 1265) for visitors to scan and input their vehicle license plate number for a one-day (12-hour) validation.
Please click here for an excerpt from the OSB Facilities Manual regarding state parking garages. This information should cover any questions you or your visitors might have about the LaSalle Parking Garage.
Entering The LaSalle Building
Visitor Sign-In Requirements
After entering the LaSalle Building, all guests visiting C&E must sign in with the security guard at the front desk on the first floor upon arrival. A sign-in sheet will be provided and must be completed upon entry and exit.
Employees: Responsibility for Visitors
Employees expecting visitors for meetings or other business purposes must ensure visitors are provided, in advance, with the name and phone number of the C&E employee they are visiting. Upon arrival, visitors will be required to contact that employee, who must retrieve them from the first floor and escort them to the appropriate location.
Employees must also provide visitors with a backup contact name and phone number in the event the primary contact is unavailable at the time of arrival. The security guards will not contact employees on behalf of visitors. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure visitors are provided with all required contact information prior to arrival.
Employees: Forgotten Badge Procedure
Temporary printed badges will no longer be issued. Employees who forget their badge must sign in with the security guard at the front desk upon arrival and contact a coworker or supervisor to escort them to their floor. A sign-in sheet will be provided and must be completed upon entry and exit. Responsibility for access rests with the employee.
