Board announces November Lease Sale Results
Baton Rouge -- The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board conducted its monthly meeting and lease sale Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the LaBelle Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.
The Board collected $281,157 in bonus revenue for the November lease sale. The current FY 2017-18 total bonus payment amount is $2.3 million. At this month’s lease sale, there were four leases covering 913 acres. The leases were located in Assumption, Iberia, Lafourche and Plaquemines parishes.
According to the Board, the ending FY 2016-17 amount of bonus revenue was $1.9 million.
