Ducks Unlimited has recently completed a coastal restoration initiative to help restore vital marshes located within the Cameron Creole Watershed near Lake Charles, LA.
This Duck-Wing Terracing Project will be featured at a news briefing and field trip sponsored by Ducks Unlimited, Inc. and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources.

DU managed the $1.4 million project with participation from private landowners as well as local, state and federal government agencies. A duck-wing design was used for the terraces made of spartina alterniflora (smooth cordgrass).
