State Mineral Board reports June lease sale data

The State Mineral Board conducted its monthly Lease Sale on June 14, 2006, at 11 a.m. in the Conservation and Mineral Resources Hearing Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.

During the June meeting, State Mineral Board Chairman Scott Angelle announced the appointment of Clyde W. Kimball, who is replacing board member Kenny Bernhard. Kimball served as a former member of the Louisiana Legislature and Assistant Secretary of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He resides in Ventress in Pointe Coupee Parish.

Below are the preliminary results of the lease sale and 2005-2006 Fiscal Year totals.
