America's WETLAND Exhibit Travels to the East Coast
La. Department of Natural Resources’ public information officers will attend the Coastal Zone 03 Conference in Baltimore, Maryland along with the America’s WETLAND Exhibit during July 13th -17th.
The Coastal Zone 03 conference series is the premier international gathering of ocean and coastal management professionals. The largest of its kind, this biennial symposium attracts over a thousand participants from around the world.
This year’s keynote speaker Eileen Shea is the climate project coordinator for the East-West Center in Hawaii. Her presentation is expected to provide a historical perspective of the evolution of coastal resource management. She is also expected to talk on recent findings in the area of climate change and coastal community planning.
