Statement of DNR Secretary Scott Angelle on the passing of former Secretary Jack Caldwell

BATON ROUGE - “I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of former Secretary Jack Caldwell, as were the men and women of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, many of whom worked for Jack during his years with the agency. I am grateful for his service to the state and his efforts to preserve our natural resources and promote their responsible use. My family and I offer our prayers to the Caldwell family, and I hope that they can take comfort and pride in the knowledge that he served the people of Louisiana well and this state was a better place for his efforts."
