State Mineral and Energy Board announces results of July Lease Sale
Baton Rouge- The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board conducted its monthly meeting and lease sale on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in the LaBelle Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.
The Board collected $227,168 in bonus revenue for the July lease sale. The current 2026-2027 total bonus payment is approximately $227,168. At this month’s lease sale, there were five leases covering 674 acres sold. The leases were located in Bossier, Caddo, East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Plaquemines and West Baton Rouge parishes.
The total bonus payments to the state for the previous fiscal year, 2025-2026, amounted to $4.3 million.
