Mineral Board provides December Lease Sale Results
Baton Rouge -- The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board conducted its monthly meeting and lease sale Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the LaBelle Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.
The Board collected $63,258 in bonus revenue for the December lease sale. The current FY 2017-18 total bonus payment amount is $2.4 million. At this month’s lease sale, there were four leases covering 232 acres. The leases were located in Acadia, Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes.
According to the Board, the ending FY 2016-17 amount of bonus revenue was $1.9 million.
